About the vineyard

Our boutique vineyard overlooks the historic gold mining town of Clyde, which is nestled in the burgeoning grape growing area of Central Otago.

Our property is part of an old apricot orchard of which 30 trees still remain. In 2003 we planted 1200 vines on the north-west-faced terraced hillside and a further 860 vines on the lower side in 2006. This lower vineyard was relocated in 2023 to our neighbour’s hillside terraces for better air flow and frost protection.

Our vines are hand-tended from start to finish to ensure quality and so we can admire our wonderful view!

We are a certified sustainable vineyard. The only sprays we use are sulphur, to guard against powdery mildew, and marine products such as kelp and fish hydrolysate to bolster soil and foliar nutrients.
